We have been learning about subtraction this week. We have been learning to cross out the right amount of pictures find the answer.

Phonics 

This week in phonics we have learnt alternative sounds for the vowels.

As well as the sound that we learnt in phase 2 they can also make different sounds

A can also be ai (paper)

E can also make ee (she)

I can also make ie (kind)

O can also make oa ( go, don’t)

U can also make oo (unicorn)

There are no parent activity sheets for these sounds. But you could practice handwriting by writing some of the high frequency words.
