Good morning! Happy World Book Day! It is one of my favourite days in the school calendar. 

Start your morning with your flashback 4.

 

As it is World Book Day we wouldn't have 'normal' lessons. Therefore the day should be spent celebrating the wonderful world of words and stories. In your paper packs you have some activities to complete but I have also included some further links below. 

Take a look at the World Book Day song. There is also a youtube video on 'Books that make you LOL'. It's a 40 minute programme about how to write funny stories and why they are funny.

 

Don't forget to read your next two chapters of 'Kensuke's Kingdom'.

 

We also have a school competition for you all to take part in. You have been tasked with making a character from a book out of a cardboard tube. Have a look at Class Dojo on the main page to see the details and for further inspiration. There are some fabulous prizes to be won!
