Pastoral support
Here at Babbacombe Primary School we are deeply committed to the emotional wellbeing of all our pupils. We strive to provide first class pastoral care and have a wide range of provision to meet the needs of our pupils. We have embedded a PSHE program into our curriculum and this is delivered weekly through whole class teaching in each year group and in the form of small group work for targeted children.
In addition we offer Talk Time to meet individual children's emotional needs. We can also provide individual anger managment support programmes and friendship mentoring if needed.
We are lucky to have a trained bereavement counsellor on our staff who can support children and adults who have experienced loss.
If you feel your child needs additional pastoral support pleas contact our lead - Jayne Allansen-Hart.
