Welcome to the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) page - we hope you find some helpful information about the PTA.
What does the PTA do?
Every parent/carer is a member of All Saints Babbacombe PTA and you are all invited to the meetings.The PTA brings together parents, carers, teachers and others to raise money, to support All Saints Babbacombe C of E Primary School and for the benefit of our children. It provides an opportunity for everyone to work together towards that common goal. We run various events throughout the year, we hope and encourage you to join us in making these events a success for the benefit of the school and for our children. Please do come along …
We work in partnership with the school to develop strong links between home, school and the local community. We try to help promote the family and community ethos of the school and provide fun activities and events for the children and their families alike. We aim to raise funds to help our school achieve its goals.
All Saints Babbacombe C of E Primary School’s PTA role is to:
- raise funds to help the school provide extra resources for the pupils
- run social events for parents and children
- provide an opportunity for people to meet, get to know each other and have fun!
We have supported the school by funding touring theatre productions, developing the outdoor space and setting up an allotment area for outdoor learning. Future projects include bringing inspirational speakers to the school, volunteering in our allotment garden to link in with the curriculum.
