Our New Curriculum
At present we are developing a new curriculum to ensure that children have a rich and relevant learning experience at All Saints Babbacombe CofE Primary School. These pages are currently being constructed - please bare with us whilst we build up a wealth or resources that will allow you to support your child's learning journey at home.
The key driver for our school is our vision and values. These embody the key principles we hope all children can use to shape their life long learning journey. To learn more about our vision and values and where they began please click here.
Our Curriculum Intent: We strive to develop lifelong learners who have high expectations and are equipped to succeed and contribute to our ever-changing, diverse world. The curriculum is designed to inspire, engage, nurture and motivate our learners, whilst developing and celebrating the gifts and talents of each individual.
Our Curriculum Hook: ‘Knowledge of our world past, present and future helps us find our own place within it and allows us contribute to our global community’
Core Curriculum Questions: Designed to help focus our topics and teaching to meet the learning needs of the children within our school's context.
Our Curriculum is based on the National Curriculum for England and Wales. If you would like to learn more about the National Curriculum please follow this link:
