Today I would like you to read through the PowerPoint to learn about the Maya Creation Story. After you have finished reading, I would like you to re-write the story in your own words. Think about how you can add description using expanded noun phrases, adverbials and prepositional phrases. You could even add in direct speech as a challenge!

Topic - Art

Today I would like you to create a Mexican Sugar Skull. You can use the template to help you draw one, or create one using materials you have at home: clay, playdough, moon sand, chalk, pastels, pasta, paint, or anything else you can find!

There is a video below you can watch to learn about the history of sugar skulls and why they are used, you may recognise them if you have seen the Disney film Coco!
